Company Action Plan for Securing ZEB Contracts
Kuniken Ltd. and Kankyo Sekkei Kuniken Co., Ltd. have registered as ZEB Planners. In order to achieve the goal of having more than 50% of our design and consulting projects be ZEB structures by fiscal year 2025, we will focus on the following activities as ZEB Planners.
- Specific Energy-Saving Technologies and Cost Proposals for Achieving ZEB
- We will actively propose energy-saving technologies and cost solutions that contribute to achieving ZEB for our clients.
- Provision of Support Services for Subsidy Application
- We will actively provide support for subsidy applications, including schedule management and advisory services.
About "ZEB" About ZEB
Net Zero Energy Building (ZEB) is an acronym for buildings that aim to balance the primary energy consumption of the building to zero while maintaining a comfortable indoor environment.
About "ZEB Planner System" About the ZEB Planner Program
A "ZEB Planner" is defined as a business entity that, utilizing the "ZEB Design Guidelines" and "technical and design knowledge for designing ZEBs and energy-saving buildings," provides a widely accessible consultation service for achieving ZEBs. These entities offer business support (such as architectural design, facility design, design and construction, energy-saving design, and consulting) and publicly disclose their activities. The Sustainable Open Innovation Initiative (SII) registers and publicizes ZEB Planners. ZEB Planners conduct planning to help owners considering the introduction of ZEBs achieve their goals. Furthermore, involvement by a ZEB Planner is mandatory for participation in the ZEB subsidy programs implemented by the Ministry of the Environment and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.
