Ala Mahaina Condo Hotel & Okinawa Hanasaki Marche

With the client’s concept of “enjoying the resort as if living there,” this project integrates a 100-key hotel with commercial facilities, aiming to create a destination with a distinctive character. To enrich the visual experience and create picturesque scenes for visitors, the buildings are arranged with intentional offsets and gaps, and the floor levels and railing heights are varied. The layout also features a central grand staircase accompanied by bridges and water features, enhancing the circulation and encouraging visitors to explore, with the vibrancy of the commercial facilities spilling out onto the main road. In the hotel, every aspect, from the main entrance with views of Sesoko Island to the guestrooms, restaurant, pool, and large communal bath, offers ocean views. The overall design features sharp-edged white buildings that emphasize light and shade. At dusk, the lighting, set to the color temperature of the sunset, creates a serene and high-end resort atmosphere.
