Okinawa Laugh & Peace Entertainment School

2018 Cultural & Educational Facilities

This facility, built on the site of the former Matsuo Fire Station near Kokusai Street, is positioned as a vocational school aimed at nurturing entertainment talent who can succeed globally.

The exterior consists of a curtain wall that visually reveals the activities of students and others inside, as well as balconies equipped with wires to promote wall greening.

The first-floor event practice room and the second-floor open library are designed with movable partition walls and an atrium to create an open community space.

Classrooms on the third to fifth floors are finished with floating floors to reduce vibrations and high-performance sound-absorbing and soundproof interior finishes to accommodate various curriculum needs (dance, vocal music, ensemble, recording, etc.), providing a space where students can perform at their best. Additionally, the rooftop veranda adjacent to the equipment storage room on the sixth floor serves as a space for practical gardening classes.
