Ryukyu Hotel & Resort Nashiro Beach

Nashiro Beach in Itoman City, southern Okinawa Main Island, is a beloved natural white sand beach known to the locals.

In this stunning location to view the sunset, we planned the area’s first full-scale beach resort, a luxurious hotel of the highest standards in Asia. It features a resort space that emphasizes the continuity of interior and exterior spaces, blending architecture, nature, and the essence of Okinawa.

All guestrooms are oceanfront with sunset views and feature deep balconies offering panoramic views of the East China Sea. The buildings are arranged in separate and staggered layouts, with low-rise podiums and rich green buffers surrounding the area. This design minimizes visual bulkiness while ensuring expansive ocean views from all parts of the building. The interior spaces connect seamlessly with the outside through large openings and open terraces that draw nature inside.

The courtyard facing the sea features a tropical resort garden with several distinctive pools surrounded by palm trees and flowers, incorporating red roof tiles and Ryukyu limestone.
With multiple restaurants, one of the largest banquet halls in the prefecture, a chapel, and other international-standard facilities, the resort offers global functionality. The facility and landscape are zoned by theme, creating diverse spaces and a meandering experience.
