(Tsubogawa Square Building Annex) Parking Structure
2009 Government Buildings & Offices
This auxiliary parking and bicycle storage facility was developed exclusively for the Tsubogawa Square Building. The parking method, structural type, various specifications, and plans were carefully considered, with the highest priority given to safety, security, and efficiency.
For the parking method, the continuous inclined floor, which offers the highest efficiency in terms of the number of parking spaces, was adopted to achieve high cost-effectiveness. In particular, the pursuit of minimal floor height resulted in cost reduction and a gentle ramp gradient (3.4%), ensuring safe and comfortable driving and parking.
In terms of systems, special attention was paid to enhancing management and security facilities such as parking control systems, industrial television, and security alarms, ensuring peace of mind for both users and administrators.
The exterior features aluminum louvers common to the Tsubogawa Square Building, and efforts were made to integrate greenery to create a unified and sophisticated urban facility despite the typically stark nature of parking facilities.
